DECEMBER
2006 Jason's injury in August has proved to be more serious
than it appeared at the time. He has had to stop training through
September, October and November and is only now tentatively
back on the ice. This has meant that he has missed all of the
autumn championships and will also miss the British Championships
for the first time in many years, as he was unable to take part
in the qualifying tests at Junior level.
However
he is now resuming his training and hopes to return to full
fitness in the next couple of months. He will be attending the
European Championships in Warsaw in January as a spectator.
AUGUST
2006 After an excellent summer preparing
for the autumn competitions and adding the Triple Lutz to his
repertoire, Jason has sadly had to withdraw from the NJS test/
competition in Sheffield because of injury. The new short programme
has been developed and will now be shown first at the Scottish
Championships in October.

The focus for the next few months
is to build up the triple jumps and to develop Jason's new short
programme. The Triple Toe Loop, Triple Salchow, Triple Loop
and Double Axel combinations are coming on well and being built
into the programmes.
JANUARY

Jason
has just returned from a visit to the European Championships
in Lyon. He is now back at work on the ice, developing his 2006
programmes. More
