2008-2009 Season APRIL 2009 Jason finally had an operation on his knee and is now recuperating before resuming training in a few weeks time. MARCH 2009 Jason has reached the last 20 of the Dancing on Ice Search for a Star Competition! Through December Jason travelled to the "Dancing on Ice" studios and skated in front of Torvill and Dean. He progressed through several rounds and appeared on the show twice in March. This was despite having an ongoing knee injury. He is now to undergo surgery in two weeks time to correct the problem. NOVEMBER 2009 Jason't training was going very well and he felt fully prepared for the last IJS event of the season in Deeside when disaster struck! Once again his knee injury had flared up and he was unable to compete.
His next assignment is to attend the auditions for the final of "Dancing on Ice" before travelling to watch the Eric Bompard Grand Prix in Paris. November will be rounded off by competing at the Deeside IJS. OCTOBER 2008 Jason has now finished his new long programme for this season and will unveil it at the Scottish Championships in Dumfries. Immediately after that he will be flying out to Austria to compete in a senior competition called the Leo Scheu Ice Challenge at Graz. Jason will also be auditioning for the "Dancing on Ice" finals. A detailed schedule is available here. AUGUST 2008 Jason passed his level 10 field moves tests at Murrayfield on August 11th. This now enables him to plan his competition schedule for the coming season. His planned programme can be seen on the Calendar page. His training is going very well and he is also choregraphing new programmes for this season. JUNE 2008 Jason's training is now going very well as he prepares to move up to senior level in the new season. He is working on all his triples.

NOVEMBER
2008 Jason competed in the Scottish Championships at level 10 in October,
winning the silver medal. He then travelled to Austria for a new international
IJS competition in Graz, where he won a bronze medal. Photos from
